Michael H. Erdman received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Washington University (St. Louis) and his law degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois (1998), Missouri (1996), the District of Columbia (1997), and in a number of federal jurisdictions. Erdman concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, including antitrust, online liability, general business, and copyright/trademark infringement matters. He has appeared before state and federal courts, and various state and local administrative bodies and arbitration panels.
Erdman edits Online Liability Blog™, which covers laws (proposed and enacted) and litigation (pending and decided) that regulate, challenge and in some cases immunize services offered by websites, ISPs, hosts, backbone providers and other online players via the Internet and other mediums.
Erdman also edits Real Estate, Real Competition & the Law™, which was nominated as a 2007 Finalist for Inman News' "MOST INNOVATIVE BLOG." This blog chronicles the experiences of innovative real estate brokers and websites that offer U.S. consumers more choices when buying or selling a home.
